Express Yourself. Freely.
Individual sessions are geared to help you work on any mental health needs and goals you have at the moment.
I use a client-centered approach to therapy, where you are seen as the expert of your life. My role as a professional is to help you uncover the answer within, while providing nonjudgmental and compassionate space for you to move through the thoughts and feelings that come up for you during session.
I also mainly use narrative therapy where the main principle is to help you see the concluding story you’ve ended up telling yourself about your life, the beliefs that maintain it, and working on restructuring the latter to help you redefine yourself as the author of your own life.
In my line of work, I’m also informed by approaches such as Internal Family Systems, attachment theory and trauma-informed interventions. Furthermore, I like to pay special attention to intergenerational factors to problems that people are currently experiencing (my clinical work has been significantly shaped by Mark Wolynn’s approach to inherited family trauma
