Giving your emotional needs- A voice.

Working with men [of all orientations] towards a healthier version of
themselves, along with helping them navigate the different roles and expectations of being a “man” in society, has been a deep passion of mine over the years.

It especially started with my own journey of redefining myself as a man, which began at a weekend training (New Warrior Training Adventure) with Mankind Project in Johannesburg in 2017. Besides being one of the most cherished weekends of my life, it also led me on path of several years, where I asked myself questions such as:

What’s my story?
What have I ended up believing about myself?
How do I want to see myself from now on?
What values do I now commit to for the rest of my life journey?

These have all helped see a version of myself I never thought even existed before, and I could not have done it without the support of empowered men I’ve met over the course of several years. Since then, my commitment in my mission statement of “healing myself so I can help others” has been an ongoing driving factor in my clinical work.

My work in different countries, especially in the field of addiction recovery, has also led me to come across men who were at their lowest points in their lives. Accompanying them on their path to “get
back up” has been my honor over the last few years. More so, my
experience at Sunshine Coast Health Center (SCHC) in the past year has
allowed me to work with men from all walks of life who had been struggling with their darkest shadows until they allow themselves to look within and heal those wounded parts and rediscover a renewed version of themselves.
