Individual Psychotherapy

Individual sessions are geared to help you work on any mental health needs and goals you have at the moment.

In my line of work, I usually utilize approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems and trauma-informed interventions. I also pay special attention to intergenerational factors (my work has been significantly shaped by Mark Wolynn’s work on inherited family trauma)

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy can be highly beneficial in times where you feel that you are “stuck in a rut” when it comes to how you and your partner are communicating and functioning in the relationship.

Having someone who is providing a non-judgmental space for the couple to re-negotiate their communication patterns, as well as express themselves authentically, can be a total game-changer.

In my work, I welcome couples of all orientations and work on several common issues such as rebuilding trust and intimacy, co-parenting, and fostering healthier communication.

Family Therapy

Over time, families build a set of communication patterns and norms which may impair the way individual members relate to each other, especially during periods of stress. Family therapy is aimed at helping the family unit function in a way where authentic communication and emotional expression becomes possible, such that each member is able to be present as a source of support for the other.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis has been used as an effective tool in therapy to help intervene on the subconscious. The subconscious is our “warehouse” for any beliefs we have about ourselves, others, and any particular situation. Thus, hypnotherapy is a great way to intervene on limiting beliefs through post-hypnotic suggestions to help create a version of yourself that is best equipped to face adversity through resilience.
